I asked the question on the wakey board about this statement but it just looked as though it was going to escalate into another slanging match so i let it drop, but i have to say that the statement did seem very strange to me just for the simple fact of why make it at all ?.

But no-one answers the question of how they can stay when they have sold the ground.

If they can "buy-back" their stadium and find the resources to re-develop this has to be their best option.

At least if the worst does happen and they are relegated they still have a ground in Wakefield!

Went up to the tip this morning to get rid of a few things before the lastest batch of toys etc arrive, and start to clog up my cellar again and bumped into Mr Wright clearing out his boot. He is fully aware of the 'banter' that is going on at the moment on the forums and he said he wasn't cocerned about what Wakefield were doing, as it all about us. I said it's now up to you to take the weight of your shoulders and make all us Cas Fans happy by making sure that FPP goes in. His exact words were 'It's going in next week and he was going to be filmed handing it into the Planning Office himself. However the MD at Probiz wants a 'Personality to do it'

This is directly from the man himself and I really hope he's right (or Wright!!!)

It's interesting how this thread title seems to sustain relevance with every development in this whole thing. The latest are some seemingly bitter comments from Ted Richardson in the League Express as discussed on casforum.co.uk and totalrl.com. In summary:

Headline is: Wildcats make plea for fairness

He states in the article: "I don't think it is right to criticise..." before launching into comparisons between Wakey and Cas.

- We have to submit for full PP
- Wake have everything ready including land and funding, Cas don't
- Criticises Cas saying there has been big talk and no action
- We haven't had access the 2m funds because we've not set up a trust yet.
- Wakey are closer to finishing their stadium than Cas

Phenomenal. No idea why he thinks that's going to work. Perhaps that's Plan B for Wakefield...
