Don't lump us all in the same bracket.

There are one or two hyper-excited individuals which seem to make a point of going around the boards of other Clubs and basically act like bell-ends. I understand their excitement, after all, we've come from the brink and things are looking rosy. Something which isn't happening at a lot of other Clubs. I think they should wind it in a little and have a little humility towards Clubs going the same way as we were before xmas.

Couldn't agree more - compared to your situation in February things are infinitely better.

But on base value, you are pretty much in the same position as us, just 15 (ish) years behind.

We had one major investor who put money into our club (allbeit not in the same bracket as your guy is threatening)

But if/when he decides he's had enough you'll be worse off than before. We currently aren't at the stage where our investor wants his money back but it's looking likely.

All I'd say is, as much as you're out of the hole, you're still in a precarious position, as it's only down to one man that's keeping you going. I aren't suggesting he'll pull out this week, next month, or even for the next ten years.

But it's still fickle of some of your guys to be crowing about the new found wealth, when the rug could quite easily be swept from under your feet.

In the meantime, I wish you all the success in the world, and Salford certainly seem to have had a much needed shot in the arm, which is great for the sport

It's that reason why we, as Salford fans, need to keep a lid on things. Being a fan of a lower half Club should mean that arrogance is the last thing that creeps into your ideas. Alas it isn't always the way for some.

Salford is getting enough flak from all sides atm. Most of which is unwarranted when you look at it in an unbiased fashion. Having just a few knobbers spouting-off can do serious damage to the rest of us, and it shames me to say that we have some of the best and worst fans in SL.

I have to say I was with your fans at the magic weekend in cardiff, and the chants you guys had when you were getting beat were fantastic! Had a right laugh.

So please don't think I'm in any way "anti-Salford"
