It is only 'open' in the sense that you need only register once to access all areas. That aside, this particular portion of the whole is pretty universally accepted as being 'the Castleford bit'. Indeed, I understand the Castleford mods have the power to ban people from the Castleford bit of RLFans should they deem it necessary to do so.

That's not the point though is it? The point is to expose your sarcastic response when a Cas fan had the temerity to imply that 'the castleford bit' had been hijacked by Wakey fans.

No, not really, and yes I most certainly do see 'why'. HTH

George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."

Sorry you are correct it was 7000, I plucked my figure from memory.

Your bitterness to carry on your personal vendetta against me is to be admired, however in your haste you clearly didn't look at your own average gate.

I actually credited you with 1000 more than us when in fact it was a meagre 500 - Oh dear. This further bust the Cas attendance myth - does it not.

Obviously I offer my humble apologies for being a bit random with the exact figure knowing as I do what a pedant some posters are. However I'm happy you have proved my actual point with your scrupulous research far better than I did - thanks :D
Personal vendetta, don't flatter yourself Vasty. Believe me I have no personal vendetta.

If you look at this seasons average gate now we have two teams that are going pretty well, our average attendace is 8052. So that would fit in with your 1000 difference quite nicely. I would compare Wakies ave attendance for this season (to be fair to Wakie and of course yourself - vendetta or no vendetta  )but I can't seem to find it anywhere, but I don't believe (I am generalising, not making a statement of fact) that they have changed greatley from last season.

A difference of 1000 people may not be a huge difference but it certainly adds up over a season, and Wakie is considerably larger than Cas. Half of Wakies problem is the ground, I must admit standing in the rain?snow etc is enough to put some less hardy souls off.

TBF that includes Salford, Catalan and Warrington (who didn't travel well this year) non of these are great crowd pleasers. The only disapointment was Bradford but that one is open to debate. The only time to take an average is at the end of the season so lets wait and see. The only realiable data is last years which as proven was a difference of 500 which really isn't much to fuss about.

Whereas we've had huge followings from Harlequins and, er, Salford to help boost our figures. :D

I will retireve this thread at the end of the season, I can guess what the figures will look like. I am having a stab in the dark at Cas being about 2000 better off. 8)
