Mathers decent player seems like a Noob tho minus 1 o .
Good supportive FB who can catch if its straight down his throat. Not a bad player english too played for good sides like Wire. Worth a go if not demanding too much.

Have you driven/walked/ever been in Castleford. Now I'm not saying Wakefield is even as economically productive as say Leeds/Bradford these days, but at least Wakefield has an economy in our city Centre.

If this issue of Castleford being such a dirty & undesirable place to shop wasn't a reality you wouldn't be pinning your hopes on regeneration around a supermarket. Again Wakefield may not have a "Canary Wharf" but our city Centre economy is built around more than handful of low end shops & the promise of a new Tesco!

That is a direct insult of my home town based on your individual opinion of its cleanliness and quality of shopping, not the fans of its team.
Is this an argument over Castleford as a town and Wakefield as a city, or over the fans of each club that represents it ?
Either way i dont care, and i dont apreciate the comment as much as i understand the reason behind your response.
Dont feed the animals it only encourages them to come back for more, and if you choose to insult, direct towards the individual only otherwise you only come across as childish as them.
I read most clubs forums on rlfans, far more than i post. To your credit i find some of the Wakefield fans posts well presented, well informed and as importantly fair and just - dont let the side down.
Now is this not a thread on Richard Mathers, any developments ?

I'd take Mathers at this moment in time. We could play Tony at full back, or maybe even Cockayne, however, I think that Mathers is superior to these two, and therefore Id take him. Looks like we'll have a backline of:

There are some reasonable and fair ones. They tend to get over-shadowed by the gobby ones and the noobs, though.
