IMO it was all BS about him wanting to come here , he had to do an interview and had to say summat. I suppose it fed his ego to see you all salivating at the prospect of such a good player coming home.
I agree, I didn't think he would come to us. Don't think we have the sort of money to get players like Ellis whilst we are still faffing about with the new stadium project.
