Because that's the way of the world Therailwayendisuponus, in every walk of life people will try get themselves a better job and if given a window of opportunity by a Superleague club, who can blame the player. We lost a lot of really good players to Superleague clubs as a result of being in the National League - Brough, Lynch, Godwin, Manu, Tony, Hudson, to name a few, I know circumstances were slightly different, but we had to accept it.
The majority of lower league players have a get out clause in their contract that will allow them to come to Superleague, and after all the overwhelming majority of them are part time players and a chance to be a full time pro is a chance of a lifetime, with much greater earning potential, the chance of international honours and no more 9 to 5.
