Let's get one thing straight: without Dr Koukash coming in at the 11th hour, Super League would be a team short right now. We were dead. Buried. Kaput. Finito.
Surely it's not too much of a stretch of logic to therefore appreciate that we few fans think he's, you know, a pretty decent bloke. Arranging to clear the debt and take on a loss producing rugby league club when you've seen a handful of games in your life suggests to us that he's got a few quid. He's brought in half a dozen new players and a former Great Britain coach. That's probably cost him a few more.
Some fans may be getting a bit carried away thinking we will be top of the ladder in a couple of seasons - the Dr naively stated next year! All wrong. But now we've got a bright future. One a lot brighter than 5 months ago. We may never win a Grand Final. But this bloke's giving us a chance. So I reckon he's, you know, a pretty decent bloke.
