No there probably wouldnt of been so why the big deal.

And before and Wakie fans say anything, i live in Wakefield and sincerely hope you get a stadium, whether is be newmarket or elsewhere.

My opinions will never change, i respect any team who wants to better themselves, unless in trying to better themselves they nearly go bust....

Also can we please change the title of this thread as RW has no reason to be called Vile.

Why is everyone asuming that the other sporting club is WTW.

Glasshoughton Welfare FC who play in the Northern Counties football league are based at Leeds Road, Glasshoughton less than half a mile from the site of the proposed new stadium.

What I said was that Wakefield became a City when All Saints Parish Church was given Cathedral Status. It is the only reason that Wakefield is a City.

The stadium is being used to justify the whole development going through as without the warehousing there is no stadium.

If ever RW needed some kind of halfwit to back up his credibility, and as if by magic the King of the turds turns up!!!

As I said , you dont like the truth, you cant stand the fact that RW has repeated old news which in any right thinking persons mind has feck all to do with the outcome of this PI.

the truth you dont like is the one pertaining to the scrounging of a new stadium, if ya want one , go buy one, dont rely on charity all the time.

Why do these idiots come on our forum?

They have gone bust twice, have left a lot of business either bankrupt or on the brink, have sold their stadium and had it given back by Wakey Council then sold it again to some dodgy offshore company owned by their own leader.

The fact is that WTW have spent beyond their means for the last twenty years and should have been kicked out of Super League or even rugby league as a whole. I would go as far as to say that their behaviour has brought the game in to disrepute.

If I was a WTW fan I would feel ashamed of what they have done to local business's.
