Bad weather syndrome - need to pray to the sun gods to keep the sun shining on all our games.
However back to previous Trinity postings - if the town of Wakie got behind their team i.e. more speccies watching them, they would get taken more seriously!!! Thier attendances have not broken any records - certainly does not reflect their league position!!
It's not about speccies is it - that is such a myth usually peddled by teams who are underachieving. If Wakefield can produce a 4th placed SL team within the budget they have then why would bigger crowds make us a more serious opposition - don't talk such rubbish.
You don't take clubs seeriously because they have more fans, or make more noise or have better bogs, it's what happens on the pitch and only on the pitch that matters. The rest is irrelevent rather like your post.
The Roosters are one of the NRL's least well supported teams, but they do OK all the same.
When will some Cas fans crowd obsession ever end, it's not like you have ended up doing better than us is it.
Finally if there was only 6,500 at BV today then the ground has shrunk, more like 8,000 - why we think it's a good idea to put out the wrong figure I don't know. It may save a bit of VAT but it's crap PR.
