Word on the street is that Mathers is coming over to us but you're still paying part of his wages so Wakey get him on the cheap. The money you save on his contract will be used to sign Pryce. I can't say I'm that impressed with Mathers but if we get him on the cheap I suppose it's value for money.

Mathers, when on his game, is a very good player indeed.
He is willing to take the ball up and organises the defence from the back. When he got injured and didnt play towards the back end our defence looked a lot more frail

Seems that there are still things to be resolved with Richie, but I hope it gets sorted and he continues with us in 2012.

6 million dollar question.

Is his heart in the club, will he give 100% or will he just go through the motions.

Some of his past twitters sound bitter, so we'll see what happens next.

Wonder why the u turn, cant he find a new club, cant wakefield match his wages, are cas not prepared to pay half his wages.

Strange carry on. However, I for one am glad he's back in training with us. Hopefully he will stay at the club

He did put on his Twitter on Sunday "We'll see what tomorrow brings" so hopefully this is the start
