So does this mean that the council were just bluffing about the land assets to begin with in order to make us to share or is this just a massive u turn? Very strange.

The Statement from Wakefield Council.

I am starting to feel more relaxed again now, looks like Wakey did what they did to get Box and themselves out of a sticky situation in regards to the feasibility study, as it would clearly have shown that Cas Stadium was light years ahead and the best option by far, so by wakey doing what they did on Sunday, it stopped the whole process from making Wakey look rubbish and also saved Box from looking like he was trying to show the Wakey scheme up in light of all the contraversy over his connections with the Tigers.......Hmm must have been an interesting meeting last week!!

Nothing about how he was going to make up for the lack of funding. Most of it was bitching about the feasibility study that never was.

Purely because the designs and full PP application would have been submitted prior to now if not. Similarly, RW would not have mentioned phasing if the full amount of money was available.

Whether that has changed over the course of the last few months, who knows?
