If Cas have agreed for him to speak to Hull, they can publicise it when they want.

The anti-tampering deadline is only for approaches.

I can tell you now that Arundel has not signed for anyone.

I like Griffin, think he's a good player. Just think he's played on the wrong side and doesn't have the decent centre inside him to tell him what to do.

The deal has been agreed between Hull FC and Joes agent (which isn't illegal by the way).
Technically he hasn't signed for anyone, you're right, but it's a done deal.

How about if the situation was something along the lines of said agent does not posses the relevant license and was the feature of an RFL letter informing clubs not to deal with him?

Of course that letter being sent out is on the word of a member of this forum and to see he isn't licensed, well that's on the RFL website.

The Hull Daily Mail 'understands' that Hull have gone no further than expressing an interest, so maybe there's been some gun jumping going on.

Hope we dont get him to be honest. Cant say he has stood out when i have seen him play and misses a lot of tackles

Joe Arundel fits in with Hull recruitment policy for next year IMO. After signing Gareth Ellis they will have to offload a few of their "stars" like Manu to Saints and Briscoe is also leaving. Signings like Pitts and Arundel (young+English+future) is the way.
