could mr millward persuade todd carney to come over, possible he was at canberra at the same time as carney and could have respect for each other.

He was refused a visa a couple of years back to play in the UK, can't imagine that situation will have changed.

Merged a few rumoury/signingy type threads all into one and renamed it. Any new threads will be merged into this one too unless they're confirmations of Castleford signings with links to supporting articles.

Not on our budgets. Don't forget, Leigh will probably get to championship final which means Millward will be coaching them into October. I don't have high hopes for recruitment for next season. There won't be anyone left the way Huddersfield are going! They will have a squad of 35 - 40. We will be lucky to have 25!

I would expect, difficult though this is to say that an earlier poster was right:

There will be things to say for next season, but we will want to get any possible negativity (is we lose on Sat'd, miss out on the play off's and a couple of people not bein retained) out of the way before we start drip feeding out other news.

I am led to understand there are a couple of things to announce, but we won't do that until the play-off situation is confirmed - no distractions and no focus anywhere but Saturday.

Then if we need a pick up next week with a bad result on Saturday - then news will probably start.

I think we will see some more players leave before our recruitment drive does begin, I would hazard a guess that Aspinwall and Fozzard will be departing.

Is the name Rangi Chase allowed to be mentioned in this thread or are you all still in denial that he is going to Wigan or Warrington?

Newspaper today suggests that Andy Lynch is wanting to leave Bradford for a fresh challenge. Granted it's Nosey Parker in the sun, but I heard this a few weeks back as he still lives in Cas I believe.

If true I think he's worth a punt
