You can take that as 'We have not made an approach, nor are we likely to, we want someone else' if recent HDM stories are anything to go by.

The press can talk about it all they want. It doesn't make me want him to join us any more than I did before. With the squad and budget he has at KR he's underachieved and with more limited resources at Cas, I don't believe he'd be able to take us forward. I also have serious reservations about what would happen to our youth policy with him at the helm.
