what sandal says is more or less right, imo. after watching rw on boots "n" all, the guy that really knows whats going on down cas, confirmed himself that there were funding problems and for the first time did not , when asked, say a stadium share with wakey was not out of the question. i think this is the thin end of the wedge, as some of you say the stadium at xscape has been ongoing for years but yet nothing physical has happened. wakefield seem to be almost up to speed and maybe further on than castleford in a matter of months. the momentum seems to be with wakefield at the moment and maybe the powers that be who control the funding, prefer a community stadium at stanley. don't think it will be long before the cat is out of the bag. no pun intended. i myself would prefer 2 seperate stadiums, but that is my opinion.

Thank you. That's without opening the can of worms that is the sale of WR or the real reason behind a member of their BOD walking away last month.
Swollow your pride & take this shared ground seriously before it's too late for you.

the board member that left last month had nothing what so ever to do with the sale of the ground, I Have known the person for over 20 years and I know 100% it has nothing to do with it
so stop trying to read things into it

Makes it even more laughable by the fact that Sandal Wildcat is the only one on here trying to convince everyone, but yet more reliable sources are choosing wisely when to say and state things.

Mind, he's ably assisted by Chissit and Mr Brown as the wave of trolling continues.

So what were you implying? You're stating it has something to do with either the sale or a "shared ground."

Again, probably reading into things as Di has said.

Thanks for that opinion... I've just run out of bog roll. You just sound utterly desperate to be honest. How badly do Wakefield need to buy in Cas in on their pipedream, I wonder?

ATEOTD, warning people on a fans forum is an utter waste of everybody's time (not least your own). Merge, share, go it alone - the clubs will do what the clubs will do. Subsequently, fans will make the only decision they are at liberty to make - that's whether to go on paying to watch a team they may or may not identify with any longer.

Poor excuse of a sad little troll. You do proper Wakey fans no service at all.

You do actually know nothing don't you?

Diggers on the site finishing off the last of the prep work, the stadium at Glasshoughton will be well on its way by the time all this about the imaginary wet dream stadium for Wakefield even gets the ground cleared ready for foundations.

Dunno why you're saying all this. Until you've got the bricks and mortar on the go, you're in the same boat.

Better to say nothing and not look a fool, than to be embarrassed if it all falls through.

yes as i said a developer is in place, they then tender out work to construction companies. it's called sub-contracting.

right then, if the developer is in place there must be a total cost been issued, or how else are they going to put tenders out, please tell how much is the stadium costing exactly
