There were alot of rumours surrounding him joining up with us next year.
With the quota ruling changing again this year I believe is there room for him? It's in the Australian press and was last rumoured a month or 2 back in the rugby league express.
Has this rumour blown away with the wind or is there something still flying about?

I'd like to think our days of bringing in Aussies that are past their best are over. The franchise system gives teams the opportunities to plan for long term wins by nurturing and bringing through quality youngsters, I'm proud that this is the direction Cas are going in, rather than populating their teams with overpaid Aussies for very short term competitiveness (see Salford, Hull KR, Catalans, Bradford etc.). I'm certain that putting faith in your youth system will result in success in the long term (see Leeds and Saints).

No need for the arrogance, reason I started a fresh is due to the fact that this now has 20 pages, I also feel the word rumour could be anything from players to ground info or even general club news.

Understand your frustation mate. Threads that have been going a while and consist of so many pages seem to lose their edge with people going off at a tangent.

I can't believe there's no rumours about who our final overseas spot might be filled with but as there's nowt on this thread I guess that must be the case....
