Don't have any problem with that assessment at all. His name just about rings a bell but I can't honestly remember anything about him from the Wakey matches of this season so will defer to the opinions of those fans that saw him regularly last season.
He's at the age where he can make a big change in performance over the next couple of years and with a different coaching team and new surroundings could turn out to be a different player. I'm not saying there was owt wrong with the set up at Wakey but for whatever reason maybe his mental approach wasn't right whilst he was there.
I can recall a few comments about Jordan Thompson whilst he was on loan at York to the effect that he was hardly standing out in a championship side so was clearly not up to SL level. But since he's been back at Cas in the latter half of this season he's done pretty well.
ATEOD, Griffin's been given a 1 yr contract and as Vasty say's is probably not been paid a great deal so if he doesn't cut it this year his contract ain't renewed, no real harm done. On the other hand, the incentive of securing a longer term deal may just bring the best out of him...

That didn't work at Huddersfield or at Wakey. Think the lad needs an attitude change if he is to get anywhere in the game. He isn't a great player by any stretch of the imagination but doesn't seem to be making the best of what he has. Seems to be a Griffin family trait to be honest, Darrell did the same at Wakey and now repeating the trick at Huddersfield. To be honest though I don't really see where he is going to get into your side anyway, especially once you sign Goulding. I'd say of all your back options he will be bottom of the list.
