No, and 7 isn't the median of 14 either!

Positions 7 & 8 are equally half way in a 1-14 sequence of integers.

7th would solely be mid table in a 13 team league.

7 is half way in a list of numbers 1-13.

7 & 8 are both half way in a list of numbers 1-14.

Write them on a piece of paper and start crossing numbers off, one at a time, at alternating ends of the list. See what happens!

How old are you? Have you started year 5 yet? An 11 year old would know this.

14 is 2x7. Half way between 1 & 14 is 7.5, half way between 1-13 is 7.

Halving something is not the same as finding the mid-point!

I'll leave the holding up of 14 fingers to you.

Write the numbers down and find the middle of a 1-14 league.

It is position 7 & 8, trust me...
