I actually thought you were signifantly better, the play-the-ball was much faster and caused us problems all game. I think it is down to this that the Cas players lost their discipline, they could not cope with the speed of Bradford in posession.
Chase would have made a difference but he deserved not to be playing.
We were quicker at the ptb, and some of our offloads and kicks were pretty good. And our pack finally got on top. So I can see where you are coming from. And I never thought I'd see the day when Bulls were becoming known for their speed, must admit!
But that all comes to nothing if you can't turn that into points near the line, or make panicky decisions when a cool head and some patience would serve better. We got away with it today, since you didn't punish us for it, but we need to improve a fair bit in this department, IMO as we saw last week at Hull. I suspect our head coach will not be as happy as you might expect he would be - be interested to see what he has to say, though.
And sorry, on reflection that maybe reads as if I'm suggesting you weren't that hot. Not my intent - and you were far, far better than woeful Wakey two weeks ago. Until aboput 60 mins I was worried you would get back on top. Maybe I'm still surprised that we have a team to follow, and one that is perhaps doing better than many expected?
