I think £120,000 is too much personally and would be surprised if Cas were to offer this amount. It would show that no lessons have been learned from the contracts we've handed out in the last 3 or 4 years.

£120,000 is too much for us - almost 10% of what we currently spend on our cap. I know we need a couple of centres but this is too rich. I know of the rumours of Joe Arundel leaving but I would rather us spend a little bit more to keep a 21 year old with potential then risk being in the position we are in now with players on long term, over inflated contracts.

I could be wrong on this, but, iirc, two years ago the club said money wasn't the issue two years ago (& our offer matched Saints' then) but Shenny wanted a new challenge. If it's turned out the grass isn't greener and he wants to come home, I'd have no problem matching it again (whatever the actual figure is)

My dad bought 22 acres in Selby for the price of a 3 bed detached house in Hull, It was nothing to do with wanting to live near Cas. x
