How is that even close to being a good idea? Add 2-3 quality players this year, add another couple next year - you get a stronger team this year with the backbone that was already in place then next year that team gets stronger again.

Oh yeah, you and RW (and Millward it seems) are too stupid to realise you BUILD on momentum, not have a gap year

If the club had added Kaufusi & Paea (possibly Mika too) this team would have at least 2 more wins...and all 3 players are in an area of weakness for the team.

Add two this year, have no money to pay your youngsters, who then go to another club. The fans then whinge about the club having "no ambition" and for letting youngsters go.

For the money Mitchell, Nash, Griffin & Millington will be on you would have been able to get Kaufusi, Paea & Griffin as well as sign up the young players still.

Did the club look at offloading Hudson & McGoldrick too as an example, get rid of those 2 a year early you can sign pretty much anyone you want and improve the team straight away.

Mitchell was a bizarre signing because he isn't as good as the young second rowers already at the club and Nash is the worst signing any team made in SL this year so aren't exactly good uses of the salary cap.

You really reckon Mitchell, Nash, Griffin and Millington would be on a shedload of cash? Along with signing Owen, Clark, Milner, Chase on bigger contracts? That says it all; clueless.

How can we offload Hudson and McGoldrick? No one will pay a fee for them, never mind buy them out of their contract.

Mitchell has been a decent acquisition. I'd certainly keep him for next season along with Thompson, Holmes and Ferres. Snitch, McGoldrick, Hudson, Jackson should be the ones going.

2013 is the season that IM will finally get to grips with this squad and will be able to turn it into his own.

Mitchell shouldn't be ahead of the likes of Holmes, Davies and Thompson so unless he signs on low money to be a squad player, he isn't worth it.

He's a below average coach and I'm not holding my breath on him signing anyone with what is close to the required skill to be a regular playoff team.

Friggin' 'ell there's some poop being talked on here. How many excuses can one club have, there's always one for everything with us. When will the club get off its booty and sort its problems out instead of sitting back and just using them as a reason for under performing. When the likes of Poppys mum can't be bothered to go down, a lifelong fan who has been following them longer than some have been breathing, it must say something about the current state of our club. We've stuck by through the bad times and it's not about winning every game for us Cas fans. But when everything about the club right now is an absolute shambles and a joke, together with the embarrassing performances of our so called Super League team on the field some fans are rightly feeling they would rather spend their time and money on other things.

None of us are band waggoners we just want to see a product that we expect when paying our hard earned money. Of course last nights TV game was the top of our league but that game just showed me and many more how far away from the standard we are. Some of our players need to either bog off or start putting in the effort on the training pitch, on their lifestyles and on a game day. We harp on about our sport and our players being athletes but right now our club are lagging way behind and look like they would struggle to beat Fev (no offence Fev fans) and the rest below us. We also are starting to look like a club that shouldn't be in the SL and something drastic needs to be done quickly to sort that out.

I expect another embarrassing performance again tomorrow where we look like a NL side in the SL. I don't think I can stomach many more like that either. I can take losing, but losing and looking like pathetic morons who don't even look like they know how to play the game is beyond a joke.
