Long and Hull FC claim it was high you and Child say it wasn't but judging by Long's reaction leading to him being sent off I would say there was something in it wouldn't you? He's never been sent off before in his career.

I'd say a lot of that boils down to the fact that he's used to getting his own way having played in a winning team for his whole career. He's always been a gobsh*te and probably isn't used to things not going his way with a struggling team. Him and Hull FC are obviously going to claim it was high so as to shift the blame for the defeat from themselves. Truth is, the match officials on the night and the RFL review panel are the only ones who are independent and they all say it was ok. Now as difficult as it may be for Long to accept that he was smashed by a big Willie, it's about time he manned up and accepted it.

Is this the same big Willie that has just received a ban for doing the same to Lauaki? I'm sure Long will heed your advice when he finally recovers from his concussion.

The rfl review team, with slow mo replays say it wasnt high, i would think they would be a better judge of than any fc or cas fan that saw it dont you?

Not exactly. The charge for the one on Lauaki was not the same:

Defender uses any part of his body forcefully to twist, bend or otherwise apply pressure to the limb or limbs of an opposing player in a way that involves an unacceptable risk of injury to that player.

Oh and I suspect Long's concussion is probably from banging his head against a wall in reaction to Agar's continued presence as Head Coach, and the fact that he currently lacks an idiotic hairstyle to protect each of his three braincells.

Shame on long for going with the elbow, probably nothing wrong with his head, he knows he will get a ban so wont be playing anyway and is trying to get some sympathy.

Long's was a mis-timed challenge cos he was suffering from concussion, well that's what he says in our paper anyway. He would still be named in the squad, innocent until proven guilty and all that.

It doesnt matter how you time it if your leading with the elbow
