| Quote Starbug="Starbug"Not passing judgement on who,s stadium I prefer , but you are aware the RFL changed their own criteria to allow you back into SL back in 2005'"
Is this the seating requirement that was dropped from 2000 to 1500? I dare say had any other team earned the chance to be promoted that season, the change would've suited them too.
How many seats were there at Hilton Park when you were promoted to Super League? Does your capacity at LSV earn a point in the licensing criteria yet?

The seating capacity at Hilton park was around 1,600 in year 2000 when we made the GF , we were told by the RFL that wasn't enough , so the club paid for another 500 to be put into the Tommy sale stand giving us around 2,200 when we were promoted
Capacity of the LSV is 12,000
As I said , not casting aspersions , just that New Craven park passed the ' framing the future criteria ' , just , whereas Wheldon road didn't despite 10 years of SL occupation , and yes I know that belle Vue is even worse

| Does anyone ever take a step back & see how ridiculous & laughable all of this is? 'You can't be in SL with only 1500 seats, you need 2000.' 'You can't be in SL with a ground capacity of 10000, it has to be 12.'
FFS, apart from the top 4 or 5 clubs nobody's averaging anywhere near crowds of 12k, and I don't see hoardes of disgruntled fans at Cas complaining they can't get a seat, but clubs are facing demotion from the league on the basis of artificial targets like these instead of which team's performed the worst on the field. Similarly you can have a team like Fev who have a storming season but aren't allowed to be promoted.
I think its time for fans to revolt against Richard Lewis and those at the top. Its time someone told them the game belongs to the fans not them.

Totally agree but it will fall on deaf ears, the RFL and its stadia brainwashing committee have done a great job
FACT. there is no better place in the world to watch a game than a 3/4 full and rocking jungle, and I fear we will lose that when we move

Caravan Park better then the Jungle? you are having a laugh that golf stand needs to be condemned because it's unsafe to walk on, the other stand is closer to the sea than the pitch etc.

you obviously dont have to risk your life in the temporary/permanent seating then .
Its a dump, a shiny dump, but a dump all the same and not a patch on the jungle

| Listen i actually like going to the jungle when rovers take the 2000 fans its awesome atmosphere and do Cas actually take enough fans to pose a threat to the seating area, apart from the few that choose to stand up and jump about ...

| i'll apologise now if this question has been asked before.
Lets pretend we live in a perfect world and the dreams of Cas Wakey and Salford all become a reality and three stadiums are built. Who would lose out come franchise decision??
The reason I ask is with one team cast into the lower leagues how long would they last before the crippling debt of a stadium that is designed to hold 12k would be attracting on a good weekend 2k weighed them down and they go into liquidation?
There is one thing for certain the RFL would not be bailing out which ever club
