I think he's been bloody awful. Those 2 attemped tackles on Roby in the first half were some of the weakest full back play I've ever seen. I think Brough will embarrass him further on Friday. He's developed this habit of running a diagonal line from second receiver, whilst it looks good, it rarely acheives anything, and when it does look it might do something, he usually throws a god awful pass.
I've lost count of the amount of times this season mcgoldrick has drawn the defenders into the tackle looks for the offload and theres no one there, compare that to pryce who uses the same tactic, has support and results in his team scoring tries. The australians use there fullbacks as an attacking force, coming into the line like an extra half and its a tactic that works really well, i know goldy has his defensive frailties but he has improved there alot (last year the fans moaned he couldnt catch, this season he's generally looked safe under the high ball) and is one of the only players that is currently giving us go forward.
