Just watched highlights from yesterday's game. Ainscough and Cooper played well (the latter scoring a debut try which has been credited to Sergent!). Didn't see much of Sherwin, I take it he went off early (as he was on the starting team sheet). Also didn't see much of Davies. He was on the bench. Could have just been he didn't feature in any of the highlights like.
A good result. The scrambling defense looked good. Chase and McGoldrick seemed to have good games, and the last play option improved as the game went on. At the end of the day though, it was a must win game. Catalans are in a similar situation to us, being also suffering from the absence of some key players.
