I never said it was, there's certainly a question mark about weather they will be.

Looks a complete nothing statement from Matterson who clearly responded to a journalists question.

However, if there is something in it Wigan must be really desperate cos they'd have to ship out one of their current overseas quota stars to fit McGoldrick in (they had to wait for Carmont to get his Samoan passport and come off the overseas quota before signing Amos Roberts). That would entail the paying of compensation to the dismissed player as well as a sizeable transfer fee to Cas for McGoldrick himself.
