Chase turned into a liability yesterday - pointing out other players deficiences doesn't change that, especially when those other players were forced into thos errors by Chase's selfishness and stupidity.

Yeah that's a load of rubbish and you're showing yourself up. He did nothing yesterday and was being selfish he got 3 assists, made countless clean breaks in the opening 20 minutes and had a pass or 2 that lead to an assist, if you weren't so biased as to not just solely point out his poor moments you'd see this but because you're a Wakey fan you can't praise anything remotely linked to Cas and the ball steal was a loose carry (Chase clamped the ball to stop the offload) and the kick in to touch was a brilliant idea poorly executed.

And are you trying to say Westwood being brain dead and conceding 4 needless penalties is Chase's fault? Because that's what you put and that is beyond ridiculous.

Gronk even if he did make 3 assists, he also cost us points/lost territory with his brainfarts, time to drop him and stick Widdop and McGuire in the team.

Yeah we get it, you don't like him playing because he isn't "English" but the witch hunt on here and by Eddie & Stevo is embarrassing and making the whole game look close minded and pathetic, instead of embracing someone willing to represent the country every mistake gets blown out of proportion and he's made a scapegoat.

Another question for you...what has McGuire EVER done at international level? He isn't as good as Chase so if you want him in because he's "English"...congratulations on being a bigot.

I'm not saying it's just Chase, but he is one of the problems, god you Cas lot really can't see beyond the Amber can you?

He's selfish, one dimensional and for the love of god i don't know how he got Man of Steel.

Go on, explain how he's selfish if he has 6 assists and 2 passes leading to assists in 2 games if he was selfish?

He got the man of steel because he's the best player in the league - and in the first 20 minutes you saw why he is too, Chase along with Tomkins & Roby were killing the Aussies early on.

He's far from the worst performer so far for England so if you want to complain why not complain about the others who have been worse? Sinfield, Yeaman, Briscoe, Wilkin & Westwood have all been poor so far but why aren't you talking about them? You're a bigot and it's clear to see.

Surprised you didn't quote all the assists from the SL site.

He's a halfback you'd expect him to be involved, if he throws the last pass before a try doesn't mean he was the one who 'made' the try.

If you think that 20 minutes out of 80 is good enough then i bet you're happy with you're league position, after all you started off well then faded.

Give me a choice of Tomkins or Chase and it's Tomkins every time, i have in previous posts mentioned Westwood and Yeaman but seeing as this is a Rangi thread work out why i'm singling him out.

I actually think Gronk has made a valid point. You're all so obsessed on 'Rangi-watch' you're too oblivious to the dross being served up by other members of the squad.

Indeed, he made errors but you would expect any half to make some errors at some point. It seems like that any error made by Rangi is dropped on like a ton of bricks; had someone English, i.e. Sinfield done exactly the same I bet the swathes of criticism wouldn't half be as bad.

I, personally, am getting sick of this. It really is tiresome.

No, I'm not biased. But equally I'm not letting the fact he's from New Zealand taint my judgement by pretending that there's a whole host of English quality halves out there that's he's preventing playing. Fact is, he's a very talented player, justifiably chosen by his PEERS to win Man of Steel because he's such an instrumental, exciting player.

FWIW, I also thought Westwood, Yeaman and Sinfield were distinctly average and for good measure, McBanana wants his head testing for leaving the form prop of SL without even a spot on the bench.
