I think that's the point though - having been a selling club for donkey's years, we know full well that when a wealthy club comes in with an offer, even for key personnel, the club are hard pressed to turn it down. Broughy is a prime example - he was the stand-out SH in SL, our absolute best player and won us many matches; despite that, Shudds were able to spirit him away because we needed the brass.
I don't know if Cas are in that position or not and weirdly, I find myself hoping that none of the big fish are able to make RW an offer he can't refuse; the only club I'd like to see him go to is WTW, and that's never going to happen - in financial terms, our new owner has got us off the life support machine, but we're a long way from being fully rehabilitated.

What do you think about the notion that AG invested in WTW thinking that you were going to be a Championship club and got caught out by the late demise of the Crusaders and is now probably out of his depth in SL?
