Rangi Chase has 2 years left on his contract, if Rhinos want him, they will have to pay in the region of £250k. They have no brass end of. Rangi remains a Tiger.

I cannot think why I should be pleased that I impress you, however that aside let me put you right on a couple of things, assuming you have partial ability to read and digest what is said, let me just remind you what I indeed did say, one of your posters alluded to a Leigh player possibly coming to your club, and me for my sins being a bit presumpious said yes because Chase is ALLEGEDLY going to the Rhino's, please note the word ALLEGEDLY as I like you have no idea whether he is going or staying (apart from GRONK obviously) the only difference is I don't give a fig where he goes but there are quite a lot convinced that is where he is bound, I note without interest that you acknowledge there will be a problem with his visa, and I would like to point this out to you that at no time have I inferred anything about it. Decent interview in which Millward comes across quite well if a little guarded in his comments. Doesn't make any grandiose promises or predictions which you might associate with him given some of the more sensational quotes he's been associated with in the past (I appreciate these sort of things often get taken out of context and misused by the media in order to sensationalise the story).

Having been quite unimpressed initially by the suggestion of Millward being the new coach, having had time to reflect I'm reasonably happy with it now. The telling factor for me is that fans of the clubs where he has spent a reasonable amount of time as a coach ie. Saints & Leigh are very complimentary about him.

In common with a number of other Cas fans I was hoping to see Peter Gentle as our new coach. On reflection I can't really put my finger on why! He is after all something of an unknown quantity to me and presumably to a lot of Cas fans, who has only ever coached at assistant level in Oz.
