Location is irrelevant. It's the only the Wakey fans whinging about it to be honest. It should be the one which will a) get built quicker and b) has the better opportunities to get more businesses on board, sponsors, fans and which allows clubs to grow.

Do we really need to keep explaining this:

a) To attain most of the funding - it was hoped that Paloma, who owned the Hicksons site, would clear it up and start regeneration enabling us to sell The Jungle. Alas, they went bust.
b) Because we don't have designs/architects in place.

Wonder what they will all think of Mr Box if the Newmarket site gets the go ahead, (i must be the only Cas fan who thinks it probable,its not like the council hasn't helped them out before in the past is it)?

That was my initial feeling too.

A fair few of both sets of fans are assuming a merger is inevitable . A fair few of those people are saying that they will stop attending games if they ain't played at the site of their choice .
A lot are saying that one team will eventually cease to exist .
Surely binks' idea is the way forward . If there is going to be a merge then there is going to be a merge . Accept it , and support the new team(s) .
It will surely happen at some point anyway , and somebody is going to grieve over the loss of their team . Maybe not the current generation of supporters , but maybe the next .
I am sure many of you have followed your team for lots of years through good times and bad . Hold those memories and cherish them , but please consider the next generation of fans . Take the hurt now and spare your kids the heartbreak of going through what is looking inevitable . Kind of like letting a dog bite you than bite your child if you see what I am meaning .

Good luck for the future however it turns out . I hope both teams pull through .

Ive got a better idea, why dont you merge with bradford, build a super dooper stadium at Odsal Top and leave Sheddingley to the RAH RAH's

Because the future of my club is not in doubt right now .
I was not trolling , was just adding my view . If it was my team then I would want some guarantee that they were going to survive . I think binks' idea could work .
