Noticed at least one report (sporting life) is still claiming hardaker was knocked out, despite the fact the video shows he wasn't, disappointing standard of journalism.

My only problem is that there does seem to have been an element of 'trial by media', coaches and players in partuicular need to be prevented from discussing incidents before a verdict is reached. Not much can be done to stop journalists commenting though.
And I don't think Hardaker did himself any favours by claiming Chase had led with the elbow, to then change his mind when the RFL charge was contact made by the shoulder.
Anyway, we are without our star player for two games, but we are two points ahead of where I thought we would be!

Totally agree with all this NottsTiger. We've lost out star man for 2 games (didn't Basil say we need to learn to play without Roger?) nowt major. Anyway like you say a game we wasn't expected to win against our nearest and dearest rivals. Expecting some real fireworks when we go to Headingley.

Could you please direct me to all of your posts calling for peacock to be banned for his deliberate high tackle on clark?

If not your credibility may be in question.

I have never said that all high shots should be dealt with by suspension, Penalties at least during the game yes. I would also like to see all high shots automatically reviewed by the disciplinary panel. High shots and head contact is dangerous.

How can you tell Peacock was deliberate and Chase was accidental ?

Should of been a longer ban, they should of took his previous assaults into account,like the assault on his fellow New Zealander Ropati last season
