Oh look who's back

This in information coming straight from someone who has spent a hell of a lot of time over the last few years working on the roads into and around the area and worked on the land where the stadium will be when they started flattening it out.

Just because you say it's not happening it doesn't make facts coming from employees of Waystone sad or wrong, you don't know everything like you like to think: you don't know the finances of Cas, Westerman isn't the most over rated player in the whole history of any sport ever like you like to tell us and most important of all, unless you work for Waystone and have been told different then the people who are working on the stadium project, your opinion is in fact, worthless :)

The person who told me thinks it's going from the other side of the stadium near the Ford garage etc to ease congestion at the round about there (which he also said is being changed, as well as the road in front of McDonalds is getting redone, thankfully seems at the minute it's terrible). Or does it go all the way from Cutsyke to the Ford garage?

I never said anything will or won't happen - I don't know and neither do you, live with it and stop creating scenarios to suit whatever fantasy you have at the moment.

Both developments in a state of flux and nothing is certain - end of.

Ground has been sold for about £2.7m. Stadium is funded by the land the council has loaned the trust and the extensive development surrounding the stadium.

Just as Cas have land donated by WMDC to raise funds the swimming pool site I believe.

i didnt relise this to be honest and i have to say i would have thought the land would have been worth much more than that, but i supose that because BV is in what you might call a very ethnic area this could be the reason for the low value

We will be down to one architect very shortly and should then get a better idea of what the stadium will look like. I'm now very confident that RW can pull this off and can't wait to see the build start next summer.

Been a little quiet for a while, any further news ? Is the stadium shop still open at xcape ?

We could do with a bit of positive news from the club. The Wakey OUTLINE PLANNING application has been accepted today by the council.

When I visit this board I always have my pants pulled up tight and secure

It was a serious question because I was expecting an announcement about the architect by now.

or could it be like some people said from the outset just a stunt to buy time ?

I obviously mean that the council have validated the plans as an application - not that they have been passed. That I think will take a little longer than the Wakey fans all beleive.

There have been delays with that due to various meetings.
