Wigan fan here congratulating your lads on a great performance tonight. Also well done to Daryl Powell who I've always rated as a good coach. He was treated rather poorly at Leeds Whinos . It looks like he may have turned you lot around, good luck to him.

Brilliant performance !!! In 20+ years following cas I don't think I have seen many more structured, calculated and professional performances. Tough up front !!!!

Don't supose anyone knows if I can Yorkshire radio do an "iplayer" type service or where I can listen to a recording of the commentary? Not even sure if Cas do DVDs of the away games. Great result and the best defensive effort for a good many years (late 2009?)

Since that silly blunt left mate, just in the league, with the combined efforts of Danny Orr & Daryl Powell, we've played 9 games, won 5, drawn 1 & lost 3 (although I must add, 1 of them defeats was against the 14 men of Salford ). I think I've been to 7/9 games and every game, we've been competitive, dangerous going forward, a lot more solid (albeit still a little weak on the edges), just a more confident, capable & determined side.

We've never been short of points. The magic number against Wigan is only 4 posted against. You've got to go a long long way back (London 2009 I believe) since we've bettered that.

We were struggling for points this season, In fact, under Millward our points for dropped dramatically, compared to where it was under terry matterson. Don't get me wrong, the 4 against is a magical effort, but that fact that we're scoring again more freely shows the rise in confidence.
