Last year before a massive injury crisis, essentially the same squad as this year was up at the top of the league.

The only change? Coach...how bad is Millward if Matterson could get more out of the team?

Are we bad yes but worse ever ??? Not a chance 04 side streets ahead of any !!!! Both nl teams and the 97 team were all worse too

This i my point, last seasons team was lauded for what seemed like most of the season before dropping away badly and blowing the top eight. This season with the same(ish) squad they are being pillaried because they are struggling.
It's not my job to point the finger, but its a bit inconsistent!!

Yes that’s what gets me each year we blood new young player get them a season or two under their belts and just when they start to show promise we sell them off (on the cheap)supposedly to help finance the new stadium.
Do we want to be a feeder club or do we want to start competing with the better teams?
Oh incidentally Mr Wakey fan the better teams don’t include you!

How many players have we 'sold off'?

If you mean one - Westerman - it was because he wanted to leave and he had turned down a new improvd contract offer. It was just convenient to use the fee towards the planning costs for the new stadium but wasn't the reason behind selling him at all.

Things could be worse.
You could be a London Broncos Fan.
This thread should be titled "Is this not the worst performing Cas side ever"
Similar to us, your team should be putting in much better performances with the team they have got but just don't come up with the goods.
I think you have a good chance of winning the game tonight & should kick on from there.
At least your not bottom of the table like our team of "Passionless Money Takers" who do not seem to care about the club & fans

Half the Cas team are mercenaries, the local lads put in 100% effort but there's also a number of players in the squad that are either not good enough or are just simply not bothered because they know they'll get paid no matter what.
