RA says "It was our most disappointing game of the year but we get a chance to redeem ourselves on a big stage,”
“We didn’t play well against Castleford last time at all and that is no disrespect to them, they played well.”
Anyway - agreed - should be a close game.

| The players have lost respect for themselves and their jobs.
Made my feelings clear on Casforum- if you back the players in their Sunday "protest" then like at Chelsea you are basically saying that the players group will decide when a manager gets fired - Ask Scolari, AVB etc, and then when the players have someone they can do what they like with and are "happy" they will play and behave as they wish as per John Terry. You can get a bounce out of that in the short term, but ultimately if you want to creat a Huddersfield, Warrington, Leeds personal perfomance culture - then you go with your management model for the long term and have players in it that want IN.
Terry M started to do that - Mason and Westerman were obvious examples, but there were others less obvious. Problem with a team sport is that you can have 15 out of 17 bought in to what you want, but 2 sulkers brings everyone down. To a point the coach job is to unify, but some people will just always be against your plan, so they ruin it for all.
Everyone will have made their feelings known on and after Sunday, lets hope that some clear minds and beliefs come out on Sunday with a commitment to each other to not give it away - getting beat by a better team on the day is fine, but not giving it up matters. don't care what Wakey do to be honest...... If we take care of our business it should not matter.

The 36 - 0 Loss to London away was far worse IMO.

| Hopefully MDean the "sulkers" won't be with us next year. Totally agree with your comparison with the primadonna's at Chelsea - we need to get shut before they poison our young-uns.

| I know it has been said many times before, but 'lets wait until next year!'. However, I am concerned that playing at Cas is not an attractive enough proposition for the right calibre of players that we need. Just like fans come out of the woodwork to follow a winning team, strong and mentally positive players often want to join a team with a winning attitude. Either that or money speaks volumes to a player when a players career may be so short.
We need to finish this season with some winning momentum to make our selves an attractive enough proposition for 2013. Otherwise we will again end up only being able to attract, and sign, 'has beens' that would struggle to get a contract with anything other than a bottom 4 team.
If we don't sign well in the off season, that's when I will be knocking the hell out of my de ja vu panic button!

mmm, least we have not conceded 70 point yet - nor have we conceded 50 to you in the last 4 years
That said it's only a matter of time that we let a blow out scoreline in - just not against you and I'll be ok.
Truth is in the last 15 years we have take it in turns, with one of us being good the other not so good - now we are both fairly crappy tbh.

| If there has been a falling out with Millward by the players, I am afraid that is it as far as he is concerened , there will be noway back. It never happens, it will be just a matter of time before the next episode. I think his departure at St helens tells you what he is like as an individual, he was found gulity of verbally abusing 3 individuals in 3 separate incidents. All reported on the internet. I think that speaks for itself.
