Both teams are pretty evenly matched, local derby spirit to level matters out even further. It should be an absolute belter of a game!!!

I'm going to predict that after all those failed, crumby, in fact terrible drop goal attempts of the other year....this game is going to finish with a nail biting 1 pointer in favor of Cas during the last 3 minutes!!!

Wakefield never looked like scoring against the Nodnol Fanless Fairies last week, and whilst our defence has been weak this season, our attack has been quite effective. That said, the form book will be going out of the window for this one and it's too close to call.

I thought Wakey would have a decent start then hit a rough patch, whilst I expected a stronger start from us than we've had. We are getting stronger though as shown by big improvements in performance since we started our phase of conceding 42-points a game.

After a good win against Catalans I stupidly thought that we could give you a good game ( always thinking that Orr, Chase and Clarke are as good as anyone in the league and would see you guys home in a close game ). After the London game I think it will be a poor contest, Orr is too ` rugby smart `, Clarke is too quick around the ruck and Chase is just too good for our lads who at best are workmanlike. I predict a big win for Cas.

I'm going to go for a Wakey win unfortunately. I think they will have a lot more enthusiasm and confidence than us and want to atone for last weeks defeat

This thread is funny, both sets of fans have so little confidence in our own teams were all predicting ourselves to lose.

Truth is we have no idea what will happen friday and its a brave man that tries to suggest he does ( or gal )

Too close to call this one. Tigers seem to be improving steadily over the last couple of games, Wakey looked clueless against Larndon and must have had a right flogging this week in training leading up to Friday's game. Before waiting for the teams to be announced and presuming both are near full strength I would say Cas have the edge definately in the halfs and just shade it in the pack. Play as we did against HKR and we should win this one. It could depend on which Wakey team turn up on the night.

I predict the North stand to slowly sink during the match as the local yoof try to claim the patch as their own, New roof on and it will only look better with some windows and a conservatory.
Oh and if Flowers or Hay can get on the score sheet I will be ecstatic, as long as it rains in the second half I will be happy......

My prediction is a 10 point win for Cas 32-22 with the decisive score in the last minute, hold on to your seats this is what Superleague is meant to be about!

Rip up the form book for this one - it's impossible to call.

Your lot will understand the nature of this local derby and may come out fired up; our brand new team is not steeped in the historical significance, so may take the field with cooler heads.

Either way, as Stevo would say, it should be a WOW of a game.
