Re: Thoughts on Sundays game? : Tue Mar 20, 2012 10:16 am
We seem to be in a rut at the moment. Low on confidence, missing some key players and lacking the experience required to turn it around - something which hasn't been helped by what happened with Ian Millward, no doubt a huge setback for the entire club. There are two key things we need to do: 1. Cut out the mistakes. 2. Improve our defence. These have both been major factors in the last two results and I'm not sure how easily they can be rectified. Hopefully Ian Millward's experience will be of benefit here.
We've had a tough start and the games aren't going to get any easier so the squad really need to stand up and be counted. I have no doubts that they're better than the recent results suggest. This season will be a test of patience for many Cas fans. As for Sunday, an improvement on last season's result would probably be judged quite a good outcome.
