DO you want me to make a list over what was so bad?

1. Takes at least an hour to get in and out of your ground
2. Took at least 15 mins to get into the ground as those "new" scanners would not work
3. Safety hazard, in that the walls at the back at the stand could easily be jumped or sat on
4. 2 toilets and about 40 urinals, what if you need a dump and theres no space because there are only two toilets?
5. Only one bar, queus were absolutely ridiculuous to get anything
6. Screen is in the most ridiculuously placed place ever.
7. Only 3 wafer thin bars separating people on the terraces.
8. No barrier at the front so people can easily dive over and jump over

want me to keep going?

How's your ground coming along?

As for outshouting us, not sure if it was because you were far away, but I only heard you sing "Salford's A sh1thole I wanna go home" Didn't hear many other songs. So if you did out shout us, we certainly couldn't hear anything from where we were.

As for the Cas fans who came in the Unicorn before the game it was great to have a bit of banter and a sing song in there, we certainly weren't out shouted then

Anyway well played better team won on the night, your pack even with all the injuries still managed to bully ours, can't see us winning many (if any) forward battles this season.

1. Im a Cas fan and you should of parked at Eccles ARLFC like all the other well informed fans
2. Teething problems
3. get a grip people are responsible for there own actions its a wall
4. if you want a private bog get a seating ticket in the main stand or wait till after half time when they were empty.

What do all you bell ends want a medal? You have a few kids that jump up and down and find it funny to sing “Salford’s a poop hole” and do the Poznan (which you sing at most away games, how funny). Which as “Ave it” pointed out was one of the only songs we heard from you. I’ve got an idea why don’t next away game you all come jesterd up with inflatable bananas, o wait a minute…..



As for calling us scum why didn’t you come in the Unicorn before hand or down to the Salford end to say that instead of waiting till you get home and bash away at your keyboard? Were you in the Unicorn before the game? We out sung your fans but I haven’t come on here bragging about it. We also came to your place a few years back with flares and out sung your fans, but yet again I didn’t come on here and brag about it. You’re a small 6 fingered backward town in the City of Wakefield oops.



Ok so some of you didn’t like the ground but come on have you seen yours? O by the way, how is your new ground coming along? Started building it yet? Sharing with Wakefield? Will this one have shiny new seats? Will this one have a roof? Will this one have decent toilets? What’s the crack please inform me?

aahh so you were one of the tools who decided it was ok to throw a flare at richard owen when he scored against you at our place? understandable really cos i think that try took us past 40 in that game! i watched the game on TV at work and dint hear your fans once, as for the 6 fingered remark makes you just as bad as dave for calling you scum. small backward town in manchester? works both ways. and lets be honest about it salford really is a sh*t hole

It was a crap thread to begin with, there is no value in the intial post and yet it still descended further and is now officially drivel.

In all sincerity, I would rather have Salford's new "rubbish ground problems" than our own.

If you think setting of flares is something worth bragging about I suspect that regardless of the number, your digits are well grazed by all that floor scraping.

Firstly i wasnt able to come over to visit your new ground at the weekend due to family commitments. That for me was a little sad as i looked forward to having a look and your stadium and experiencing your new vibrant home matchday experience.

I know several people who did attend and had a mixed review of the overall experience they had first hand, as many understood, teething problems would always come about for your first fixture as the Leigh fans who attended acknowledged.

I would like to congratulate you on your new home regardless and honestly hope it brings you a successfull future, i hope in time you can build a support base of sufficient numbers to enable you to afford to play there with the club becoming financialy viable, the genuine Salford fans deserve it.

Our new home is not even seeing a digger in the near future so looks like we will have to plod along with our run down home a little longer im afraid, thanks for your concern.

As for its facilities - i can only say a tad embarassing they are, that said i dont mind the toilets, all toilets smell (most new grounds of cigs) and after all i dont mind - im only having a pee.

I dont see your problem with shiny new seats and a roof (only one end not covered) most Salford fans choose to 'stand in the open end' - unlike most new grounds at Cas you have a choice.

Easy to pick out a few posters or a few fans, all clubs have there section of idiot fans who drink too much and sprout nonsense causing offence to others that does not make all of us bell ends - which group do you fall into ?

Its good to hear both sets of fans singing, supporting there team and players, lets face facts if this was conducted measured and gauged by levels of noise and support (tho please not by any meter of Sky/Phil Clarke's design) Hull + KR would drown out most of the league hands down (in KR's case its only expected due to there 100,000 fans).

And just for the record how could we ever forget the year you came to our home with your flares - 'they ended up on the field aimed at our players'.

In answer to a few of your questions.

1. I take it you've never parked on wigans car park or even your own where I've spent a similar time crawling up with the rest of the traffic. Stadium = traffic issues. Next time do some research and find somewhere better. Failing that stop whingeing

2. It's a new stadia they'll be seething problems at least you got in!

3. Instead of whingeing on here be pro active and voice your concerns the the stadium management.

4. When has there ever been lots of toilets in male areas. Ours is no different to most others.

5. We also only have 1 bar in the south stand yet we managed to get served perfectly well.

6. Unfortunately for you when the stadium was built they expected the home support to be in your stand so the mounting were put in-between the east and south stand. However we decided we wanted to be in south for numerous reasons. Hence why the screen is now in away stand as it is. I'm sure you'll agree that the home support should be accommodated before the away. Just like I would if i was at your stadium.

7. I'm pretty sure that the wafer thin bars are well within the required dimensions needed in a modern stadium

8. So its our fault if people are idiots and run onto the pitch, because you want 1980 style anti hooligan fencing. Get a life this is rugby not footie.

Oh and for the record we are not Manchester scum we are salford scum

The points you make regards your stadium are certainly applicable to most stadium ive ever visited and im sure if we eventualy get into our new home we will find the same/similar issues - driving around junction 32 on a weekend is already a mundane experience and thats before a stadium is even there.
I look forward to attending your new home next year unless a c.cup game gets me there first, i was gutted not to make it at the weekend.
For the record you are not scum 'Manchester or Salford' (well most of you anyway ) and i would agree with MDEAN i would rather have your stadium problems than ours.
