As a Carolina Panthers fan I have no real preference over who wins this to be honest, but as a betting man I would go for: -

Winning Margin: New England by 7-12pts (5/1 William Hill)
First Touchdown scorer: Green-Ellis (8/1 William Hill)

Just on a seperate note how did you all pick your teams? I have no connection at all with the US so chose my Carolina as they were a brand new team when I started following the game (1995).....and today I still follow them even though theyre one of the worse teams in the NFL (although with Cam Newton at QB I believe a wildcard spot in the play-offs is a possibility next year behind the New Orleans.....saying that I believe Cas have a possibility of a play off spot each year also haha).

I have no idea why I follow the teams I do. As said its 26 years ago I was only 15

Friend got me watching the Chargers. We are the team along with Philly who are predicted to go well but fail miserably. Norv Turner at the helm doesnt help. We should but never do walk our division.

Strange reasons for taking an interest in the Seahawks...

Felt sorry for them when they lost the 06 Superbowl to the Steelers...all game the media was talking about the Steelers and Jerome Betis playing his last game in his home town, then I thought they got some real duff calls from the officials (as a Cas fan i can relate to that).

A city that gave the world Hendrix,Cobain and Grohl can't be bad

The crowd are a loyal and noisey lot...regularly sell out their home games even through the lean years (which are many).

Well as a Packers fan I'm still reeling from that showing against NY. I suppose I should plump for them in the spirit of "at least we lost to the winners", but if truth be told I really don't give a stuff. I'm not entirely sure I'll even stay up for it now...

I'm a Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans fan ( shows my age ). I'm going for the New York Giants to batter the Manchester United of the NFL.

Been a Pats fan for well over 20 years, so I'm going for a Pats win, despite the shocking defence! Brady is just too good and Gronk, Welker & BJGE are all big attacking threats. I'll go for 31-24 to Patriots, with Gronk to score first.

BTW, anybody planning on going to the Wembley game in October? Now I know the Patriots will be there I'm trying to convince the missus it's a good idea! Be good to be there in Cas shirt.
