I would like to think as fans we can do our part, I would never especially boo one of our players, but there are those players whom I would never cheer, buy a shirt with their name on or go in for any kind of hero worship....
Yet as you say, there are those clubs and I would argue Coaches and Managers who value the notoriety, publicity and the short term gain over their long term credibility and reputation and that of our sport!
