No, he hasn't signed an extension. He had already signed a fresh 4 year deal keeping financially secure until he's 28. It doesn't prevent him leaving, but protects Cas and himself financially.

In the statement that Rangi's lawyer gave after his court appearance it said that he was contracted to Cas until 2015, which gives the 2 years he has left on current deal and then the 2 year extension

The fee will be a lot less than that! The fact is if Rangi wants to join the Rhinos and Leeds are prepared to agree a fee then contracts don't mean a lot and Chase will be a Rhino in 2012
