You've got some cracking young players at the club. It would be a shame if they don't realise thier full potential.

it's a real shame but I get the feeling joe westerman won't be with us next season. I know he's got a few years to go on his contract but when he walked down the restraunt stairs after game, he just stood there shaking his head at the group of fans. He then walked through them as quick as he could and when I shook his hand and said well played he didn't seem interested in the slightest. He really wasn't happy. But why should he be. Our young lads (Thompson arundel and holmes) were by far some of our best players 2day. The only reason they were given a chance by matterson was because of the injury list. Thompson should remain at full back. Looks confident under a high ball, tackles and is a hard strong runner.

Terry is staying , sorry look further than the gloss n spin that Mr wright puts on things there is a different agenda .
if i had to put money on a chairman who would sell out the club then he is the one.

Re: Bye bye terry : Sun Apr 18, 2010 6:09 pm
It's easy to blame an individual or two - and Terry does need to take some responsibility thats true.

But there are 17 people who need to look at themselves tonight - Becuase I actually believe at this level that the coach's job is different to the level which most people play - At Lock Lane, I expect the coach to be trying to keep players out of the pub and the coach has got to take responsibility for lads fitness - because they are not professional. (I am doing them an injustice actually, it is an example not specific!)

My boss at work doesn't have to tell me not to come in hung over, doesn't have to tell me not to d1ck abot and doesn't have to tell me to have pride in what I am doing and why....... Sadly, I think TM as a green and gold and with SOO appearances and a long and distinguished career doesn't understand lard arsed lazy players..... and nor do I - I need to stay fit, I have a job and a wife and a boy of 2 - So I get up 3 hours before work, run my 4 miles and do my circuits and weights before getting a shower, getting my breakfast and then going to work........

Perhaps a few of the 17 on duty today need to look at an example of personal pride, aspiration and doing whatever needs to be done? I wanted TM to do well for us because he is the next stage - sadly our playing staff will drag us backwards, we now need a Ned Kelly, Karl H - a workhorse to make us like Bolton under Allardyce again...... bad times becuase in a few years we will be crying out for a Terry again.

It's true that TM didn't suddenly shout at 28-12: "It's okay lads, you can stop playing now!"

Having said that, they're clearly not putting in 80 minutes either for us, for the badge or for Matterson. Hell, they don't even seem to be interested in keeping their jobs any more. Us and the shirt aren't going anywhere. Lamentably, that leaves only two things we can change - the squad or the coach. The former seems too impractical, so maybe it's time for this lazy a**ed squad to get a right good kick up the bracket from a new boss.

Rumours of a board meeting at the ground on Monday on the Casforum.

Could it be an ar$e kicking for T.M or is it clear your desk time?

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

That friend Richard Wright needs to take more of the flack then TM. I like how he sneaks out of the back like a snake in the grass and leaves TM to take the flack. Piece of poop.

I feel that Terry has taken you as far as you can.

Although i cant see anyone big wanting to sign for you, not during the season anyhow.
