We dont need him to play!!!!! I couldnt care less what he did, didnt do as a player. Look what he has done as a coach! He constantly overachieves with what he has. Great coach, and players speak very highly of him

i dont like kear,i thought he was a crap player for cas but i have so much respect for the man his love for cas is so obvious i only wish we could bottle what he would give us and give to every player, coach and director and our club would do just fine.

He's the BEST!

What he brings to the club has transformed us.
He will end up being given a position on our board when he's done with coaching. The fruit of his change will come in 2012 when he leads us into a bright future at Newmarket. For me i would happily name it "The John Kear Wakefield Community Stadium" in recognition for his service to sport in our region.

not all the best players make the best coaches, its how you motivate people to do things I'll give you a for instance, a nuclear plant needs some work doing in a a dangerous area, pay very good wages but still needs the shove to do the job, a long stick won't help, extreme but gift of the gab

He'll coach Cas one day. He is a Cas fan still. I can see him coming and doing the same to us as he's done at Wakey.

I never really liked him but you can get away from what he's achieved in the game. I would love him at Cas.

I would love to have John Kear back where he belongs. He was the man who first took me to Cas all those years ago when he taught me at school!! I've respected the man since I was 5 years old, and still do to this day. He would be a dream come true for us Cas fans I think. So, come on Mr Kear, get back where you belong!!

Let's get this straight Kear does not "love" Cas in the sentimental way portrayed on here.

He knows where he came from and is proud of his roots - but he has moved on since then.

He doesn't live in Cas - he has never coached Cas - he has no great desire to coach Cas.

He has seen the big world out there and has had his mind expanded. He is a pro coach not a sentimental fool. He will coach whichever club offers him what he want, Cas are no higher up the list than anyone else.

I know this because he told a group of us.

Castleford is the past and best left there, Wakefield is now, could be Catalan next who knows.

He is from Cas and is happy to acknowledge that, any attempts to read stuff into his TV commentary is pure fantasy and frankly a bit sad.

This desire to make everyone believe that once touched by the wonders of Cas you never want to leave is really odd. Look around it's CAS not CASABLANCA for heavens sake!

Belle Vue means I believe beautiful view, even if it does I'm not dumb enough to believe it and the same applies to you lot :SHOOT:
