Main thing you are forhetting is why would he want to sign for cas. Hes dumped one crap team in Scotland would defeat the object of then signing for cas.

typing error in forgetting. Apart from that its straight forward.

Cas are crap - DB left
Scotland are crap - DB left (made himself available for England)

In a nutshell joining Cas would be a backward step!

He left Cas reluctantly because at the time of contract negotiations it wasn't 100% guaranteed the club would be playin SL rugby which he wanted, hence leaving.
