2 or 3 stands isn't exactly a bad thing, a lot of NFL stadiums are just the side stands, it'll do for a start and the RFL can see it's being built.

Sorry, what part of this is news? Richard Wright has said before that the ground will be built in stages, and there has hardly been a lack of teams upgrading and building stadium in stages: Catalans, Huddersfield and Hull KR all leap to mind

I agree with you 100%, but that is just my opinion. However that's not the worry is it. Franchise will be tight next time, 2000 less seats, 3 instead of four stands will all count against you same as they would us.

If franchise is carried out to the letter a lower capacity, incompleted ground could count against you in in a tight race in the worst case scenario possibly lose you a place.

It's not the end of the world but you can't just shrug it off minor IMHO.

As Gazemous says, this is old news and RW mentioned this in his interview before Christmas.

Not sure why this old chestnut has been brought back up again?

Disappointing for you guys. Possibly gives Wakey the lead in the stadium race.
For the guy who mentioned Odsal, that never got a warning letter and Craven Park will be fine by the time '12 comes around

Because, knowing the writer of the article personally, he's not a fan of Cas, so a small reason to spin an old story into fresh bad news wouldn't have phased him much

The stadium news is old news, but what about the second piece of the statement?

For the club's CEO to say we may struggle to make seventh or better again is remarkable.

What will the coaching staff & the players think of this?. Would any board member of the likes of Crusaders,Salford or
Harlequins say that publicly at a press conference?.

It isnt exactly encouraging any floating supporter to go to the games if a member of the board thinks this.

Negative comment of gerard ratner proportions

I thought it was a fair assessment to be honest.
Bradford, Hull, Catalans and us (Wire) are going to be much better this year imo

Aaand RW&B, I agree however I think Widnes will replace Salford, if one of the other candidates has a cracking application one of you two is making way. Just my opinion of course
