I'd not want Jeffries at Cas and certainly not Newton.

Imho i think with these signings Wakey are going backwards, although I'd like to see them prove me wrong

I bet you said that about snitch, Wilkes, Fox, Blaymire, Moore and Korki to name a few. Whats your thoughts on Millard and Tronc, more backwards steps I suppose! Kear signs players he knows he can work with and gel into his team successfully.

I think, your opinions are more based on wishful thinking rather than rational thought.

I would make a fair assumption that any off out new signings will make the Cas first 17.

Korki was utter trash for us

No wishful thinking about it, i'd like to see Wakey do well, but with a crock like Morrison, a hot head like Newton and Jefferies who you've got rid of once and he went to a team that did worse than you i can't see you improving on this year

Does that sum up the whole of Kokis 6 seasons in SL for you? "If he played poor at Cas he must be poor". Total rubbish he has played well for most of his SL career, for some reason he had a bad year playing under Matterson.
Imho he is the best prop at the moment at Wakey.

As for Morrison ( no bigger a crock than Sherwin ) his resent form has reflected Bradford's resurgence. A proven quality player that im confident Kear will get the best from, injuries permitting of course. A small risk gamble for a one year deal.

With the addition of Millard and Tronc ( which you conveniently didn't comment on), I would say we are looking good for next season.

Going backwards?

Have you heard of Tronc? My god! your club has little more than hopes and dreams to rub together and you slag other more sucessful clubs off!

IF in 2 years time SL is looking to reduce the number of W.Yorks clubs it won't be Wakefield.

Your a small club in a small town with VERY SMALL MINDS!

Small club? Dare I mention attendances? Cas have many significant qualities far superior to Wakefield and I highly doubt that we will be first out of SL.

As for Tronc he's probably the only one I'd take out the new signings. Morrison probably two years ago, Newton probably similar although he seems to be a player who blows hot and cold.

morrison, newton and tronc would get in the castleford 17, imo. Although I still feel morrison and newton are gambles.

Jeffries wouldn't, not as good as chase or sherwin.

Don't know much bout that new centre.

But it's all just opinions, and the end of the day we should let the teams do the talking on the field, instead of throwing insults over nothing, or other peoples opinions (small team, small minds... what ever).
