As a former soldier this kind of news always strikes a chord with me........these lads are not paid no-where near enough for the job they do and the defence funding is laughable.......10 chinooks for 1100 british soldiers.......100 american chinooks for 250 yank soldiers...more travel by air...less attack of IED.
I am also an ex serviceman and feel for everyone in his family and friends group. A very sad day for the town, and we all must support our men and women out there in their struggle
