I just think your getting carried away with things, yeah netherton might look slow against other SL teams but when he comes up against a Championship team he will look faster, remember if Penkywics (sp) was that good and fast why is he not being snapped up by a SL team?

Netherton in the ruck is still faster then what Halifax have to offer......i know im setting myself up for a mighty crash.....

Believe it or not this is one of Fax's major strengths this season. Other Championship sides know this and try to slow us down by holding down for too long. Because referees are conditioned to the generally slower pace of the Championship they rarely penalise for it. Hopefully with a SL referee the game will flow a lot more quickly.

They seem to play a very loose game throwing the ball about to try to create gaps, and they have a good big solid looking pack, who can make good meters, and can play with the ball. Barker was playing in the centre last night - the halfs were Black and Penky, then Beswick.

He wasn't very impressive to start with but he now seems to be improving week by week. Scored 6 tries so far.

His drugs ban won't have helped, penky and gleeson are the best 2 hookers out of SL, better than Netherton and one or two more aswell IMO. I don't expect us to win on Saturday but hopefully we'll give you a game and the extra few days rest we've got should help.

Can't wait for next Saturday. It will be good to be back at a Super League ground again. Eeeeeeeeeee, it'll be like goin to Lundun !!
