I can understand why they have done this it makes sense. However 6.pm on a Saturday night will not feel right for a challange cup match. Bet it will knock 1500 off the gate to.

My Auntie lives in East Hardwick - how far is this from the Jungle?

A few of us are tempted to have a night out in Cas after the match. Is this recommended? All we want is a good honest Rugby pub with a generous amount of craic and banter. I remember a pub near the ground - Early Bath? What's that like?

About 10 miles from Cas.

It's other side of Ponte near Ackworth, Badsworth etc.

As for Early Bath, that is closed now, after a car crashed into it earlier in the week.

Thanks. We can do that in taxis. Shame about the Early Bath. I think we'll just find the nearest pub(s) from the ground and enjoy our drinks. Hope it's a good contest - will set us up for a good night out in the real Vegas. Can't wait.

not sure about your distance its actually just over 5 miles, my Auntie aslo used to live there and we did the trip regular
Ponte is only 3 miles from Cas so how you got 10

If you're planning a few beers after, have a few local but then you're probably best getting a taxi to xscape. This is of course, on the presumtion your a young un. Cas vegas Centre isn't "where it's at" now like it was when i was a young un. You won't go wrong with the bootroom though after the game, which is righ opposite the ground. Plenty of aftermatch shenannigans and away fans always welcome i'm told.

Feel free to totally ignore any of my info as i'm now practically a tea totaller and stop in every night.

The Bootroom sounds good for us. Not really interested in places with names like Xscape
