i know its a bit early to be saying but im really confident of a high finish this year

if we can can get into the play offs and get a good cup run together i can really see us becoming a member of the "big 4" like the team of 1999

Well we didn't last year. Or 2006. And we certainly didn't in 2004 …

I'm really glad Cas are doing well.
I'm a fan of another club but I enjoyed watching Cas last year as you were expansive and raw. I hope you guys carry that on into the next few seasons and you could have a corker of a team on your hands.
FWIW I think you were ridiculously unlucky in 06, at one point I think you were challenging for a playoff spot with about 8 weeks to go and I was worried it would set you back a good few years. It might have done but if you carry on this year as you've started you won't be far off!

p.s. Nice to see you've stuck with your coach through all of this too, makess a change!

I'll still be more than happy with a place anywhere in the play-offs.

Whilst we've started reasonably well you have to look at how good all the other teams are. There's only Salford that look off the pace at the moment. Saints, Leeds and Hull look certain to finish above us. Hull KR an Huddersfield look strong and you'd expect Wigan, Bradford & Warrington to get their act together sooner or later. Catalans have too many good players not to start winning plenty soon. Cas are likely to be battling with 4 or 5 other teams for the lower play off places.

I feel sure we will get a play off place, although injuries (if and when they come) will surely play a part. I believe we have the best squad we've had in the Superleague era, that includes the 99 squad.

There's no doubt in my mind, that we have a really talented group of players, the depth is definitely there up to about 20 players, we may find out if the rest of the squad outside that 20 are capable or not, but let's hope it doesn't become an issue and that we can carry on enjoying seeing a competitve and "Classy Cas" for the first time in years.
